This is a mean and fast looking machine, really. Do you get many high speed chases in Canberra?

I think there has been more high speed pursuits in Canberra this year than previous years in my opinion. Tragically one ending in a quadruple fatality.

There have been calls for pursuits to be banned. and police are also looking at trialling a laser device that shoots an adhesive tag onto the back of any car under pursuit. Although I have heard a report from a police commissioner that during one incident an officer fired the device but missed the target and hit a passing motorcyclist instead.
